Astreopora colonies are range from flat, table-like structures
to being nearly round. Although most Astreoporas available for the reef
aquarium are infrequently found and most often tend to be brown or cream
colored; although more vibrant colors of red, blue, green and even orange
have become more regularly available in recent years. These corals require
similar care to other members of the Acroporidae
family, with strong current and are most often succesfully kept under
bright metal halide lighting.
