One of the most intriguing and beautiful corals of all,
the 'Maze Coral' (Leptoria Phrygia) also sometimes referred to as a 'Brain
Coral' and even the 'Labyrinth Coral', is generally lobed in morphology.
These corals are not commonly available to reef aquariums, and are often
quite expensive. Leptoria do produce powerful stinging sweeper tentacles
which normally appear during feeding at night, so care must be taken to
place these corals a safe distance from neighboring species.
