Scolymia Coral Species.

Similar to the genus Cynarina, corals of the genus Scolymia are also large single polyped species. In fact, both are commonly referred to as 'Doughnut Coral' and 'Button Coral', with the species Scolymia Vitiensis truly appearing to be the pastry namesake. Green and tan color variations are common, with red specimens being the most sought after.

Coral species of the Genus Scolymia include:

>Scolymia Australis > Scolymia Vitiensis
