Mycedium Coral Species.

Producing stinging sweeper tentacles, the 'Elephant Nose Coral' (as it has been commonly dubbed) should be kept a good distance from both soft corals and stony coral neighbors. Mycedium are most often plating corals, with raised bumps somewhat resembling noses (although not elephant trunks, as the name might suggest). These corals are most often found in browns and grays, although blue, yellow and red specimens have also been known to occur.

Coral species of the Genus Mycedium include:

> Mycedium Elephantotus > Mycedium Robokaki > Mycedium Tenuicostatum
