Bottlebrush SPS Corals

Bottlebrush corals take their name from the cylindrical brushes on long shafts often used to clean bottles. Bottlebrush corals are among the most delicate SPS corals, and their fragility gives them an elegance that makes them a favorite of advanced reef aquarium hobbyists. Among the Bottlebrush corals, perhaps none is more beautiful than the Acropora Echinata, sometimes found in an amazingly blue variety. These slow growing corals can certainly be a valuable addition (as well as a costly one) to a SPS reef tank.
