Should you be lucky enough to find one, the grape coral (Euphyllia Cristata) is an excellent addition to any reef aquarium. Similar in care requirements to other members of the genus, the grape coral is much less frequently available to the reef aquarium hobby than such species as the hammer coral, torch coral and frogspawn coral. This is a hardy coral tolerant of a variety of reef tank conditions, but somewhat susceptible to diseases including brown jelly disease.
