Two variations of the frogspawn coral are commonly available to the reef aquarium hobby, the Euphyllia Divisa (commonly referred to as the frogspawn coral) and the Euphyllia Paradivisa (commonly referred to as the branching frogspawn coral). While most retail shops are likely to misidentify which of the coral species they have, it is the Divisa that is more often available for sale. The two are differentiated only by the shape of their skeleton, with the branching variation much more readily fragged for propogation. As with other members of the Euphyllia genus, frogspawn corals are easy to keep and grow into large coral colonies in a range of conditions and using a variety of reef tank hardware configurations.
