| Colors: | Brilliant variations of blues and reds (giving these corals their common name of Superman Montipora) are known to occur, and are highly sought after. |
| Lighting Requirements: | Moderate to high. Metal halide lighting will help these corals maintain their brightest coloration, but as with other members of the montipora genus, these corals have been known to grow successfully under VHO lighting or power compact flourescents. |

| Availability: | While once rarely available, aquacultured specimens (frags) are becoming more commonly available through retail or trade. However, desireable colorations can be very expensive. |
